Exciting new lecture

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions and First Year Experience present Neil deGrasse Tyson as the First-Year Distinguished Speaker of 2008. The event will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2008 at 7:00pm in the Weigel Hall Auditorium. The Bell Resource Center has a limited number of tickets. If you are interested in attending, please stop by the office to obtain your ticket (200 Pomerene Hall). Please note, tickets will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. Tyson, earned his BA in Physics from Harvard and his PhD in Astrophysics from Columbia and has served on 9 and 12 member commissions as appointed by President Bush on the topics of U.S. Aerospace Industry and U.S. Space Exploration respectively. Neil deGrasse Tyson has also received numerous awards, written dozens of publications and has 8 books in his memoir.
