Leadership Institute

Greetings! You are invited to apply for membership to the Todd A. Bell Resource Center on the African American Male (BRC), Leadership Institute. The purpose of the BRC Leadership Institute is to prepare African American men for leadership (service) at the University and also within the community. Leadership is at the foundation of the Bell Resource Center. The staff of the Bell Resource Center is dedicated to helping you achieve your leadership goals.
The Leadership Institute will begin in November and end in May. Bi-weekly sessions will be held throughout the year scheduled from 6:00 – 7:30pm on Mondays in addition to periodic community service activities. Attendance at all of the sessions is required, excluding emergency situations. Attendance is also mandatory at the Opening Ceremony of the Leadership Institute scheduled on Wednesday, November 5th at 6:00pm. Upon completion of the institute, you will become a certified student leader of the Bell Resource Center.
If you are interested in building your leadership skills to serve others and can commit to the time allotted for the institute, I encourage you to apply. The application deadline is Friday October 17th. Please contact Todd Suddeth at suddeth.1@osu.edu to receive the application by email. Once your application is received (please send be email to suddeth.1@osu.edu), the Bell Resource Center will follow up with you regarding membership with the Leadership Institute. It is preferred that you have at least one year left before you graduate from OSU.
