Center for Student Leadership and Service

Welcome to the Center for Student Leadership and Service! Housed in the Ohio Union and working in partnership with departments and offices across campus, the new Center for Student Leadership and Service strives to serve as a comprehensive, centralized, connection point for students, staff, and faculty to leadership and service opportunities on campus.


We work to strengthen and transform personal leadership through a broad variety of experiences and opportunities, to develop social consciousness around issues which affect us all, and to connect people and resources in an inclusive environment that fosters learning, innovation, and lifelong action. We intentionally link leadership and service because we believe that every student has the potential and the capacity to serve through leadership in our community. Our vision is to prepare world-class leaders for responsible citizenship.

Leadership Awards Applications Available Now
Applications and nominations are now available for the 49th Annual Leadership Awards Celebration. Awards will recognize individuals, student organizations, programming, innovations, and Buckeye spirit. Applications are available online and are due by Friday, February 12. Apply for the Major Campus Events Committee
MCEC is a cohort of students who work collaboratively to plan the Ohio Union's traditional campus-wide events - Student Involvement Fair, Beat Michigan Week Pep Rally, CarnOval, and more. Applications are available now and are due February 19. Contact Katie Krajny with questions or for additional information.
