Need Your Support with Youth - Football

Message from Walter Smith member of Street Soldiers:

"Street Soldiers, an organization in Columbus, a has raised $390 for East High School football player football cleats. Having purchased three pair we have $240 to outfit at least three more youngsters at East. We want to then go to Linden McKinley and at least put cleats on six of the most needy football players. The reason I am so adamant about this is because in the 11th grade when I played I could not afford cleats and that was when I started selling drugs. Lets keep these young men on the football field and the class rooms instead of the streets, prison and the grave."

If you are interested in supporting this effort, please bring monetary donations to the Bell Resource Center office at 200 Pomerene Hall. No donation is too small. Please make checks payable to Team Start. We would like to have all donations collected at the Bell Resource Center by Monday, August 4th. The BRC believes in what this effort is trying to accomplish and wishes to help in any way possible. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the Bell Resource Center staff at 614-247-4765.
