Huck House needs Help
As apart of a national community initiative, The Huckleberry House is launching the Green Light Project to bring attention to the national problem of kids who runaway from home. Your help is needed to make the project a success.
Alarmingly, one in seven kids between the ages of 10 and 18 will run away at some point in their young lives. These unsettling statistics mean that there are between 1million and 3 million runaway and homeless youth currently living on the streets in the United States.
Huck house will be distributing thousands of free green light bulbs hoping that Columbus will light their porches green for the month of November as a call to action that we care about our kids. They are looking for volunteers to help with labeling and distributing the light bulbs, posting flyers and just simply spreading the word about what its all about.
