Morning Prayer is a way for students to experience God each sunrise. We believe that through prayer, hearts are opened to the Lord, so what better way is there to start your day that is full of classes, work, and extra-curricular activities other than prayer? Occasionally prayer is in a group setting, however most of the time it is intended for individual, personal, and intimate time with the Lord. Come join us as we command the morning and grow closer to God!

He was the head of the Monroe, NC chapter of the NAACP, and was expelled for taking said position. Challenging the Klan dominated establishment in North Carolina, and mainstream civil rights leaders, Williams struggled to earn respect, dignity and equality for all Americans.

Diane Nash was refused entry into the Tennessee State Fair not because of her inability to pay, it was because of the color of her skin. After this degrading experience at the Tennessee State Fair, Diane Nash devoted her life to helping achieve equality for all, including participating in the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee sit-ins and helping to desegregate Nashville, Tennessee and other parts of the South. Come listen to this civil rights pioneer share her first person experiences on the front line of the Civil Rights Movement and how she and other students with a vision
helped to change our world.

Beanie Drake Scholarship Applications available
The Edward S. "Beanie" Drake Student Leader Endowment Fund is now accepting applications for its annual undergraduate scholarship. Established in 1950, the Beanie Drake scholarship aims to provide scholarship opportunities to both deserving established leaders aspiring new leaders in the student community. After this degrading experience at the Tennessee State Fair, Diane Nash devoted her life to helping achieve equality for all, including participating in the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee sit-ins and helping to desegregate Nashville, Tennessee and other parts of the South. Beanie Drake Scholarship Applications available
The Edward S. "Beanie" Drake Student Leader Endowment Fund is now accepting applications for its annual undergraduate scholarship. Established in 1950, the Beanie Drake scholarship aims to provide scholarship opportunities to both deserving established leaders aspiring new leaders in the student community.
