Fannie Mae (www.FannieMae.com) is a company that provides financial products and services that makes it possible for low, moderate and middle income families to buy their own homes. The America Dream Team was created by Fannie Mae to diversify the industry by introducing minority youth to careers in the mortgage/lending field. This will ultimately increase financial empowerment opportunities for minorities and in the progress offset predatory lending practices across the country.
Benefits
$5,600.00 for the duration of the internship (10 weeks) Some weekends may be required (special community outreach projects and/or homebuyers seminars)
Participate in Fannie Mae’s American Dream Team Seminar in Washington DC. Fannie Mae will fly the intern in for one week, May 29th – June 2nd (travel, stay and food expenses paid). Students from throughout the country will receive training on the mortgage and lending industry.

Qualifications
Current college Sophomore – Seniors of African American decent
GPA: 3.0 and higher
Majors: Business oriented fields (Business, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Communications, Public relations, Liberal Arts, etc)

Strategic Sourcing InternPosition Description:
The incumbent in this position will be expected to learn the StrategicSourcing process while providing support for various projects within theConsumer Non-IT Sourcing Team. The support primarily takes the form ofidentifying historical category/supplier spend data, gathering businessrequirements, assisting in the development of Requests for Proposals(RFPs), and developing analytical cost models for pricing evaluation. The individual in this position will be expected to participate actively onthe sourcing project teams including use of the Ariba Sourcing system. Generally, this position will interact with the Sourcing Managers and theGroup Manager on particular projects. Although some interaction willoccur with line of business personnel working on a particular project toobtain information required for analysis, this interaction will belimited. Project work may include interfacing directly with external suppliers.
Candidate must be self-motivated, willing to learn, and dedicated toproducing timely, high quality work. Individual must be able to executerequired tasks upon direction from the Group Manager or Sourcing Manager. Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills requiredin addition to analytical abilities and financial modeling skills. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,PowerPoint).
