30th Annual African American Heritage Festival Scholarship Committee
Committee Members Needed!
A GREAT opportunity to get involved, give back, and possibly change a life!
As the African American Heritage Festival marks its 30th Anniversary, it also commemorates two years of awarding scholarships to deserving high school, undergraduate and graduate students.
The Committee will be responsible for:
• creating a creative essay question based on this year's theme of "Nia: Purpose"
• creating the requirements for the scholarship (G.P.A., involvement, etc.)
• soliciting applicants
• soliciting financial sponsorship
• reviewing scholarship applicants
The committee will meet according to everyone’s schedules.
You will create a scholarship and select the recipient. Make a difference and boost your resume!
