OUAB Presents: Best in Show
Art Application Form
Are you an Ohio State student with artistic talent and looking for a way to
showcase your work? Well we have the event for you! We want YOU to submit your art
to OUAB’s Best in Show event this spring! Best In Show is an art festival open to OSU
students within every field of study and every form of art. Everything from painting to
sculptures and dance groups to a cappella groups is included. Simply complete the form
below, bring your art or group to the event, and we will showcase it for all students to
see! All of the submissions will be judged and the top submissions will be featured in the
Ohio Union in addition to winning a gift card. Prizes include a $200 gift card for 1st
place, $100 gift card for 2nd place, and a $50 gift card for 3rd place.
All applications are due either via electronic copy to OUAB at
ouabbestinshow@gmail.com or via paper copy to the Resource Room in the Ohio
Union’s Center for Student Leadership and Service by May 6th at 5:00pm. We look
forward to seeing your great art!
Event Information:
- May 20, 2011 from 12pm to 5pm
- Wexner Plaza – (Rain Location: RPAC Tom Davis Gym)
- Artists must set up their art from 10am to 12pm and tear down their art
from 5pm to 7pm on May 20th.
- Musical and dance groups will be invited to perform at a specific time during the
event and all forms of art will be judged on the same scale.
- This is an outdoor, free event open to all students, friends, and families.
Everyone is invited!
- In the unfortunate chance of inclement weather, artists and group will be notified
at least 2 days before the event to bring all materials to the RPAC Tom W.
Davis Gym. All other event details will not be changed.
