Title: Work-Study Website Developer
School/Unit: College of Education (School of Physical Activity and Educational Services)
Location: PAES Building, Room A444
Hours: 10 to 15 hours per week (minimum)
Pay Rate: $7.00 to $10.00 (depending on experience)
Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with maintaining and updating Internet materials; assist with developing online surveys for different research projects; and help with updating online course materials.
Required Qualifications: A mature undergraduate student (e.g., sophomore, junior, or senior) or graduate student. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Must have good organizational skills and the ability to work on several technology projects simultaneously. Must have basic proficiency in using different web development software packages (e.g., Microsoft FrontPage, Netscape Composer, DreamWeaver, GoLive, etc.) and different graphic packages. Some experience with online course managers (e.g., CARMEN, WebCT, Blackboard, etc.) preferred but not required.
Additional Information: Applicant may work from home, and the work schedule is very flexible. All applicants must be eligible for federal work-study funding.
